Bristol Scientific Services is a well-established Public Analyst Laboratory providing a scientific service to local government, central government and the private sector. They are currently seeking a Senior Scientist to be responsible for the day to day running of the Food and Agriculture section.
The successful candidate will be an analytical chemist with a minimum of 5 years experience at post graduate or equivalent level with proven experience of managing a team of scientists,ability to meet deadlines and in possession of excellent communication skills.
Extensive experience in the analysis of food and agriculture products, using both wet chemistry and advanced instrumental techniques along with a working knowledge of analytical quality assurance are essential.
Candidates actively studying for or partly qualified in the Mastership of Chemical Analysis qualification are strongly welcome.
